If you have stumbled on my blog and would like to contact me regarding any of the things that I show here or if you would like to be added to the wait list for a headphone stand or request a wood type or combo for a headphone stand, please send me an e-mail at midwinterdesignworks@gmail.com Also, follow me on instagram https://www.instagram.com/midwinterdesignworks/
I grew up in both wood/auto shop and studio settings and have always liked to create things whether artistic, mechanical or, often, a combination of both. I'm a mechanical engineer and machinist by trade and use those skills in the things that I create. I've had a love of cars and audio as long as I can remember and have designed and built a lot of things in both of those areas. The things here are a selected group of my designs that I have been building for sale.
My headphone stand designs focus on the beauty of the wood used. The simple lines accentuate and focus on the unique surfaces of the burl used and the figure in the wood. They are hand shaped and finished and use cable hooks that I designed and CNC machine. My stands don't tend to last very long once they are listed but I do have a wait list that I am happy to add anyone too.
My automatic shift knob designs aim to fill an area where there are typically few offerings. While, the auto shift knobs shown are specifically for Nissan/Infiniti cars, I have worked with people to make them for a number of other cars as well and I'm happy to do that. I haven't listed those as options at this point as I haven't had the chance to take photos or create assembly guides for those vehicles. I keep these shift knobs in stock and can typically ship within a business day.
My wood shift knobs and handbrake handles are each unique in the wood that is used. Again, I have made them for other vehicles but haven't had the chance to photograph them in the cars or make assembly guides for them so I have not listed them here. I'm also happy to work with you to create a custom shift knob for your vehicle.
